National Fono for Pacific NGO and Community practitioners

Thursday 6 and Friday 7 July, Auckland  

 

Welcome to the inaugural fono for NGO and community based Pacific practitioners working in the areas of family violence and/or sexual violence.

The focus of the fono is to:

  • Build and strengthen connections amongst Pacific FVSV practitioners

  • Create a shared understanding of Te Aorerekura National Strategy to Eliminate Family Violence and Sexual Violence | Te Puna Aonui

  • Consolidate and strengthen engagement platforms for practitioners to contribute towards the design, implementation, and review of Te Aorerekura  

  • Strengthen and enable Pacific FVSV practitioners to be better supported in their roles.

 

This fono is organised by practitioners for practitioners.
